Our boat is a brand new 33-foot Tournament Edition World Cat Powered by twin 300-Horsepower Fourstroke Outboards. It is a fast, comfortable catamaran outfitted with the lates electronic and safety gear.
Our package includes a fishing license, bait, all rods, reels, and tackle.
We will even clean your catch for you!

Daybreaker is licensed by the United States Coast Guard and fully insured. Additionally, we hold a federal license from the National Marine Fisheries Service (RCG883).

About Captain Mike
Relive the excitement of fishing with Captain Mike. He embarked on his fishing journey as a young man at the age of 6 in Venice, Florida. After five years, he was alread navigating his dad’s 1971 Seacraft.
Mike’s father, Rich Sr., and brother Richie, participated in the weekly tarpon tournaments in Venice and Boca Grande. Their accomplishments in these events ignited a profound passion for fishing within Mike. This love of being on the water wasn’t just about casting lines and bonding with family. With each catch, Captain Mike realized fishing wasn’t just a hobby but his calling!

Exploring Hot Fishing Spots
In 1998 Mike relocated to a waterfront home in Venice, providing ample opportunities to uncover hot fishing spots. His passion for the sport grew exponentially, transcending beyond merely catching fish.
The Journey to Manasota Key
The year 2004 marked a significant milestone in Mike’s life. He moved to the stunning Manasota Key area and pursued his captain’s license. Upon obtaining his license, he acquired the federal permits mandatory for fishing in federal waters beyond nine miles.
After three decades in the sport, Mike’s dream finally came true. Today he boasts over 15,000 offshore boating hours and knowledge of more than 5,000 private fishing spots.
